"ESCAPE FROM EXERIA"
The Public Domain Demo Version
from Soft Rock Software.
****************************************************************************
To play 'Escape' double click the Exeria icon.
Select the number of ghosts you wish to play against (0-3).
The default is 3. Selecting 0 makes the game too easy.
Press <space> to play.
To begin playing each screen, press <space>.
The control keys are:-
Z for Left, X for right, / for down, and ' for up.
You can jump to the next screen by pressing the keys 'ILTH' together.
****************************************************************************
You control the 'pacman' type character and must guide him around the screen
collecting the 'pills'.
When all the pills of a particular colour have been collected, similarly
coloured rocks will disappear.
When all the pills are collected (and the yellow rocks vanish) head for the
'target' to complete the screen.
The 'ghosts' follow semi-predefined routes, in that they rotate clockwise
whenever they reach an obstacle. These routes can change as the various
rocks disappear.
This demonstration version contains the first 10 screens.
****************************************************************************
This demonstration version has been released into the public domain.
It may be freely copied and distributed, subject to the following:-
1: This 'readme' file remains (unchanged) with the game.
2: No changes are made to the game, unless I (Vince M. Hudd) am aware and
approve.
Please remember that whilst this version is PD, the full version is still
COPYRIGHTED. Do not, under any circumstances, assume that because this
version can be copied and given away so can the full version. It can't.
****************************************************************************
